Andrea Gash | January 2026
As DSC Consulting begins a new year, we’re doing so with reflection, clarity, and purpose.
The close of the year offered two different but equally grounding experiences for DSC. Andrea spent the holidays outside her comfort zone, traveling with her family in another country—stepping away from routines, expectations, and the familiar. Dana remained in Indiana, grounded in time with family and the rhythms of home. Both experiences, though different in setting, were rooted in the same choice: to be present, to pause, and to make space for what mattered most.
That contrast reflects something we see often in our work. There is no single “right” way to reset, lead, or move forward. What matters is the intention behind the choices leaders make—and the clarity that follows when those choices are made thoughtfully rather than by default.
One word continues to guide Dana and Andrea as they lead DSC into 2026: intentional.
Looking back, 2025 brought important clarity for DSC Consulting about our values, the partnerships we want to invest in, and the kind of work we are committed to building. What began as a leap of faith has grown into something focused, sustainable, and deeply people-centered.
As we look ahead, we are leaning into intentionality in every aspect of our work—choosing alignment over busyness, depth over speed, and long-term impact over short-term fixes.
This mindset is reflected across DSC’s core services.
- Fundraising
We build values-aligned, realistic fundraising strategies designed for long-term sustainability—not just one-time success. - Facilitation
We guide conversations that matter, creating space for honest dialogue, shared understanding, and forward momentum. - Strategic Planning
We help organizations clarify direction, align priorities, and translate vision into actionable, achievable steps. - Board Governance
We support boards through governance training and structure—strengthening roles, accountability, and partnership with executive leadership.
Across every engagement, our approach remains consistent. We meet organizations where they are. We ask thoughtful questions. We help leaders slow down long enough to gain clarity—and then move forward with confidence.
